Welcome To Wisdom Healing Qigong
On this page you will find visualizations that will help you develop your ability to heal yourself and others. Meditate deeply on each image, selecting one for a single session or for a week. After viewing it for a time, see if you can close your eyes and visualize it, feel it. Notice your energetic responses, first in your own body, then in your emotions. Jot down any impressions you have about it.
If it is an organ, meditate on the image for a while and then visualize and feel the organ in your own body, seeing yourself as whole and perfect, joyfully acknowledging the wonder of how you are made. Also seek out other images of the body and organs, using the internet or anatomy cards to practice seeing inside yourself. More images will be added.
This link offers an interactive visualization of the various organ systems in which you can zoom to various layers of the body with greater and lesser detail.
Other body visualizations are in the following order:
Brain and Nervous System
Kidney System (Includes kidneys, skeletal system, reproductive system, bone marrow, glandular hormones)
Digestive System (Stomach, pancreas, small and large intestines)
Purification System (liver, spleen, gall bladder, lymph)
Brain and Nervous System
A TED Talk
(Includes kidneys, skeletal system, reproductive system, bone marrow, glandular hormones)
Above shows the position of kidneys and relative size of left and right.
Above shows the kidney morphology and the connection with the bladder.
Above shows the position in the ribcage in relation to heart.
The photo of Lake Michigan on a day when all three forms of water are clearly shown. Ice is forming on the water. Steam is flowing up from the warmer lake into the air and blowing in clouds over ice and water. The clouds seem to show transitional state between steam and water. These three forms are ways to visualize the physical, emotional and spiritual qualities of the kidney system.
(Includes stomach, pancreas, small and large intestines)
A fascinating film (about 55 minutes) that demonstrates the connection of the digestive system and the brain. It posits that the enteric system is a "second brain" that influences our larger brain in profound ways, including emotions and development and control of diseases. It includes both Western and Traditional Chinese perspectives, plus research on the microbiome that shows how it affects various aspects of our behavior and "who we are."
The most interesting part is the first 32 minutes, if you are short on time, plus the "conclusion" which begins at 53 minutes. Great stuff!
(Includes liver, spleen, gall bladder, lymph, pineal gland.
Other body parts are eyes and tendons.)
The lymphatic system is part of the purification system.
The pineal gland, often associated with the "Third Eye," is part of the purification system. It governs circadian rhythms, produces melatonin, and affects pregnancy and birth cycles. Almost all living creatures, including humans, mammals, birds, reptiles and fish, have a pineal gland. The pineal gland is in the brain, but is largely surrounded by bone.
The pineal gland is outside the blood-brain barrier and is nourished by a larger flow of blood than any other organ except the kidneys.
The pineal gland in many people today is calcified so that it does not function properly. One of the most important chemicals in calcification of the pineal is fluoride, which is commonly used in drinking water and toothpaste. To improve health of the pineal gland, consider filtering your water and using non-fluoride toothpaste, among other nutritional support. Below is a picture of a calcified pineal gland. As with any organ system, in order for the energy to flow well, the organ needs to be physically healthy.

Mary J. Rogel, my acupuncturist friend says that Chinese Medicine knows this new "organ" as "wei chi." Nice to know Western technology is catching up!
A new technology, the Cymascope, shows the effect of sound on water and reproduces it in music and imagery, offering some insight into the power of sound (and sound healing) on our bodies. In this video, Debussy's Clair de Lune is the music that is made visible. Researchers hope to continue their work by doing experiments with the Cymascope on human blood to ascertain the healing properties of sound.
