Jantar Mantar Observatory
Jantar Mantar is an observatory in Jaipur built by Maharajah Sawai Jai Singh in 1728. It has a great variety of masonry astronomical instruments in visually stunning array of sizes and forms. Great fun for Don and his love of telescopes. The area is flat and easy for walkers or wheelchairs. I arrived at the site via bicycle rickshaw.
